My Story

I became a therapist because I needed one who looked like me.

My own time in therapy began when I was searching for a way to manage anxiety and depression. At the time, I was striving to be a perfect human rather than a whole human. Working with a Black woman therapist allowed me to gently explore the narratives formed around my identity. Finally being seen in my fullness became a profound catalyst for my own personal healing.

When the events of 2020 revealed the stark mental health disparities facing Women of Color, my path shifted. After spending nine years as a corporate leader in the advertising industry, I realized I wanted to do more than help myself. I wanted to create a culturally responsive space to guide others toward their own authentic healing.

That need became a practice. This practice.

Through those lived experiences, I learned that traditional therapy spaces don't always capture the intersectional realities we face. Eclectic Counseling exists because healing shouldn't require you to translate your experience into someone else's language. Your culture, your complexity, your full story. It all belongs in the room. No editing. No performing. No code switching.

Eclectic means I pull from whatever serves you. Not scattered, but intentional. Every tool chosen for you.

Values

What Guides My Work.

These values are not just words on a page; they are the foundation of how I practice care.

The Eclectic Model

No single lens. Every tool chosen for you.

Eclectic therapy means drawing from multiple evidence-based frameworks rather than being bound to one. I integrate approaches from relational therapy, mindfulness-based interventions, and culturally responsive care.

This isn't a menu. It's a practice of intentional selection. Each session is shaped by what you bring into the room, and what you need to move forward.

Individual Therapy

One-on-One Care.

This is your dedicated space to explore, process, and grow. In 50-minute individual sessions, I work collaboratively with you to honor what you've carried, understand what you've outgrown, and build new pathways toward the life you want to live.

This work is intended to help you feel more connected to yourself, your story, and your strength.
